So, here are my 7 random facts about myself.

1) My favorite class in high school was concert choir. I was a first soprano.

2) I learned to knit when I was five. My dad worked for the Boy Scouts and we were at a Boy Scout camp all summer. With not much for a little girl to do, my mom taught me to knit to keep me out of her hair.

3) My great-grandfather had a band. He also played with John Phillip Sousa's band when they came to town, and Sousa stayed at his house.

4) My grandfather heard the distress call of the Titanic on his homemade radio set. Of course, no one believed him until the next day when the news was everywhere.

5) The one food group I can't live without: chocolate. (You knew chocolate is a food group, right?)

6) My favorite color is fuchsia.

7) I was a vegetarian from 1971-1981, and I've just gone back to being one again.
